Some things I designed about a year ago.

THE TOP 7 TIPS ON HOW TO THROW THE PERFECT HOOKER AND PIMP THEMED PARTY!

this article is going to be released in the next "I LIKE MY STYLE QUARTERLY" issue out June '10.

- a naughty and nice invitation with an attention grabbing text. say hello with "hey sweetie" and sign with your fake prositute's name. don't forget to give DRESS CODE examples in pictures! no whore/pimp, no fun!
(my invitation looked like this, with a nice pun including my nickname Cotton Candy and 50 Cent's "Candyshop" )

- a sticky and sweet location. rather too small than too big because you know... body contact! many small rooms are always good because you can make different sex themes in them. I've had one room as a wardrobe, one for the buffet (with penis shaped pasta and penis shaped cake!!), one for sitting and one big room for the bar + dancefloor. it's super funny when the locations is near public places and you can act like you're a real hooker. on the opposite site of  my location was a primary school and there were parents coming out of it. super. fun.
and OH yeah, i've had another room where i put a huge feather bed and loads of "used" condoms.
this leads me to the next point:

- decoration! condoms everywhere. dirty pictures: sex shop shopping. yes. it's pretty cool actually. you can find loads of cool things for decoration and i even got 3 free sex magazines to decorate my party rooms with! and no worries, you'll get a black non-see-through plastic bag so nobody in the city will know where you've been shopping ;) a fog machine is always nice as well. and you need dark rooms with only a bit of light. red light would be perfect.

- music. get some boxes and play that good ol' snoop doggy dog! candyshop, pussycatdolls, je t'aime, you can leave your hat on. i have decided for trashpop  only (BACKSTREETSBACKALRIGHT) at my party with a lot of sex music and but you can feel free to play whatever your friends like. remember: not everybody has your good taste in music so let's play dance and sex music! i prepared my playlist months in advance and it was about 10 hours long.

- FRIENDS THAT LIKE THEME PARTIES AND DRESS UP AS IF THEY ARE REAL HOs. and pimps. it doesn't work if your friends don't like it, obviously.

- FRIENDS THAT HELP YOU TO CLEAN EVERYTHING AFTERWARDS. it.was.so.dirty. took us 5 hours to make everything look like nothing happened. but it was all worth it. 

- and finally: relax and have fun and don't think too much about whether your party is successful or not. HAVE. FUN.

SKY FERREIRA for dazed and confused music issue April

Be prepared for Miss Ferreira. I am going to post my painting of her in the next few days but at first I am going to Hamburg to be The Kabeedies' concert photographer and of course - the love of my life - URBAN OUTFITTERS. ha.

MIKAMIKAMIKA

I spent the last 3 days in Düsseldorf with my baby INGIE for the concert of one of my favourite singers - the beautiful MIKA!
I was given the opportunity to be his backround dancer at the concert during the interlude "The march of the death" and "Lollipop" and was allowed to spend the time before and after the concert backstage which was an AMAZING experience! Mika's mother is his costume designer and she ist the sweetest person in the world, duh!! She is the i-wanna-give-her-ten-million-hugs kind of woman. They had only four Lollipopgirl costumes but more Big Girl costumes and so Mama P made me a Big Girl because I was the tallest of the soon-to-be Lollipopgirls.
Before we would go on stage Mika played "Happy Ending". It was a funny feeling standing behind the stage having CHILLS because it's so touching, having that HUGE head on and having his mother standing beside you.
HAD A BLAST!!

My favourite band THE KABEEDIES have just released their latest video of their single "Jitterbug". Doesn't the Chorus sound a bit like "Kanye [West], teach me how?"..
They're on tour right now and will reach good ol' Germany around the 26th of March! DON'T MISS THEM :)

NYFW: Herve Leger Show

The moments above were captured by the Cobrasnake during Herve Leger's Fashion show in New york. I adore Mark's style of taking pictures.
The dress in the last picture has tricky cut-outs but from what I've seen I must say that the collection doesn't really show anything new. It's good and sweet but it's not over-the-top-out-of-this-world-good. I hope that this is just a sneak peak like the snake has twittered ;)

I am glad to see that the lovely Patricia Field was there and wore a had of her Keith Haring collection! If you ever make it in New York, visit her store "Hotel Venus"... BRILLIANT!

I wanna win this so bad!

The blog Carolines mode has caught my attention by starting this beautiful competition.
I would love to win this look and wear it because it walks the line between rock'n'roll coolness (the leather jacket), sex (the skirt + the shoes) and combines these features with the perfect basic a.k.a. the striped dress/shirt.
I have been in love with high waisted skirts forever and I'm already dreaming about combining this beautiful tube skirt with a nice cropped shirt as well. The jacket could also be combined with floral patterns and I would love to see the striped shirt with anchor brooches in the sailor look.
I hope to win this look and to be able to wear these clothes both together and seperated.

For me, the song of this outfit is "Stripper" by the Soho Dolls (probably not because of the lyrics but the tune ;) ) It's been one of my favourite songs since June. Listen to it here.

On behalf of Lee McQueen's family, Alexander McQueen today announces the tragic news that Lee McQueen, the founder and designer of the Alexander McQueen brand has been found dead at his home. At this stage it is inappropriate to comment on this tragic news beyond saying that we are devastated and are sharing a sense of shock and grief with Lee's family.

Lee's family has asked for privacy in order to come to terms with this terrible news and we hope the media will respect this.
